Hearty Beef and Noodle Medley
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 cup gluten-free egg noodles
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.

Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet, then stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.

Bring to a simmer and let cook for 15 minutes to combine flavors.

While the sauce simmers, cook gluten-free egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

Once the sauce has thickened slightly, taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

Serve the sauce over the cooked egg noodles, garnished with fresh parsley.
