Tofu-Infused Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry

Tofu-Infused Chicken and Broccoli Stir-Fry
ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup firm tofu, cubed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish)
steps
- 1.
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- 2.
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil and the cubed tofu. Sauté until the tofu is golden and crispy on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
- 3.
Stir in the minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4.
Add the broccoli florets and stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce. Mix well to coat all ingredients.
- 5.
Cover the skillet and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the broccoli is bright green and tender.
- 6.
Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, adjust seasoning if needed, and sprinkle sesame seeds and sliced green onions on top for garnish.
- 7.
Serve hot, over rice or noodles if desired.
