Savory Maid-Rite Sandwiches
"Two Maid-Rite recipes and a bean soup recipe are featured this week. Nancy McDonald of Rock Falls sent this recipe for Karen Gilliam. Maid-Rites 1-1/2 pounds ground beef 1 can chicken broth Salt and to taste pepper Crumble ground beef. Cook real slow until most of the red is gone but the meat is not browned. Drain fat. Add broth and seasonings and cook until most of the liquid is gone. Serve with dill pickles and finely minced onion on buns. "
