Pastrami Sauerkraut And Pepper Jack Strata Recipe Serving: 8 / Prep: | Cook: 60 mins / Ready in: Ingredients 8 slices white sandwich bread 4 slices pastrami 4 slices pepper jack cheese 1 cup sauerkraut well drained 5 eggs 1/2 cup milk 1 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup crushed corn flakes 1/4 cup melted butter Direction Remove crust from all bread then cut four slices into cubes. Place cubed bread on bottom of buttered square glass baking pan. Place pastrami and sauerkraut on top of cubed bread. Top with remaining whole slices of bread. Beat together eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour mixture over bread then cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. When ready to bake place crushed corn flakes on top and pour melted butter evenly over flakes. Bake at 325 for 1 hour."
