Tender porkbelly paired with savory broth, topped with fresh noodles and veggies for a flavorful ramen experience.
ingredients
- 1 lb porkbelly
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp miso paste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp chili paste
- 4 eggs
- 8 oz ramen noodles
- Green onions, sliced
- Bean sprouts
- Nori seaweed
steps
- 1.
Sear porkbelly in a pot, then remove and set aside.
- 2.
Saute onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant.
- 3.
Add chicken broth, soy sauce, miso paste, sesame oil, and chili paste.
- 4.
Simmer for 30 minutes, then add porkbelly back in to cook for another hour.
- 5.
Boil eggs in a separate pot, then peel and halve.
- 6.
Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
- 7.
To serve, ladle broth with porkbelly over noodles and top with egg, green onions, bean sprouts, and nori.
