Tender cubes of steak cooked with caramelized onions and savory mushrooms in a rich gravy. Perfect for a hearty and satisfying meal.
ingredients
- 1 lb cubed steak
- 1 large onion, diced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Add cubed steak and cook until browned on all sides, then remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms. Cook until caramelized.

Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Return steak to the skillet. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.

Season with salt and pepper. Simmer until steak is cooked through and gravy thickens.
