This dish is the perfect combination of savory and sweet with a touch of spice. It has tender beef pieces and crisp veggies in an aromatic ginger sauce that's slow-cooked to perfection.
ingredients
- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 inches fresh ginger, grated
- 2 bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Green onions, sliced for garnish

In a crockpot, add the beef, onion, garlic, ginger, bell peppers, beef broth, soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine.

Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours.

In a small bowl, dissolve cornstarch in half a cup of water. Add to the crockpot and stir well to combine.
