Savory Smoked Meatball Medley
ingredients
- 8.8 oz ground pork
- 1.1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder
- ¼ cup barbecue sauce
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
steps
- 1.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.
In a large bowl, combine ground pork, ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, onion, garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well until evenly incorporated.
- 3.
Shape the mixture into 1.5-inch diameter meatballs.
- 4.
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it. Place the meatballs in the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them, and sear until golden brown on all sides.
- 5.
Transfer the meatballs to a baking dish and drizzle them with barbecue sauce.
- 6.
Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.
- 7.
Serve the savory smoked meatballs hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
