Spiced Harvest Bars

- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, vegetable oil, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
