- ½ cup frozen peas (optional)
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp oil for cooking
- 1 package of ready-made pastry dough (about 16 oz)
- Oil for deep frying
steps
- 1.
In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté until aromatic.
- 2.
Stir in the chopped onion, garlic, and ginger; cook until onions become translucent.

Add the ground meat, breaking it up with a spoon and cooking until browned.
- 4.
Add coriander powder, garam masala, chili powder, and salt; mix well and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- 5.
Stir in frozen peas, if using, and cook for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
- 6.
Roll out pastry dough on a lightly floured surface; cut into 4-inch circles.
- 7.
Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each circle.
- 8.
Fold the dough over to form a half-moon shape and seal the edges by pressing with a fork.

- 10.
Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your choice of chutney or sauce.
