Crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, these cheese balls pack a spicy punch with jalapeño and Brazilian spices.
ingredients
- 2 cups shredded Brazilian cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp minced jalapeño
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying

In a saucepan, heat milk, vegetable oil, and salt until boiling.

Add flour and stir until it forms a dough.

Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then mix in egg, cheese, jalapeño, and spices.

Form mixture into bite-sized balls and chill for at least 30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer to 375°F.

Fry cheese balls in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
