ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back ribs (about 3 pounds in total)
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray, for grilling
steps
- 1.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 2.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, hot sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- 3.
Prepare the ribs by removing the silver skin on the bone side. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 4.
Brush both sides of the ribs with the honey garlic sauce, reserving some for basting later.
- 5.
Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down, cover, and cook for about 30 minutes.
- 6.
Flip the ribs and continue grilling for another 30 minutes, basting with the remaining sauce every 10 minutes.
- 7.
Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. Once it reaches 145°F (63°C), remove the ribs from the grill.
- 8.
Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes, then slice them between the bones.
- 9.
Serve the hot honey garlic ribs with an extra drizzle of the sauce and enjoy the sticky, flavorful goodness!
