Tangy Teriyaki Chicken Sous Vide

Juicy chicken breasts marinated in a flavorful teriyaki sauce, cooked to perfection using the Joil sous vide method. This low-calorie dish is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy a satisfying meal.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (12 oz total)
- ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- Sesame seeds and green onions, for garnish

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, ginger, and garlic.

Place the chicken breasts in a zip-top bag, pour the marinade over them, seal and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Preheat the Joil sous vide cooker to 145°F (63°C).

Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it in a vacuum-sealed bag. Seal the bag.

Submerge the bag in the preheated water bath and cook for 1 hour.

After cooking, carefully remove the chicken from the bag and pat dry with a paper towel.

Transfer the reserved marinade to a small saucepan. In a separate bowl, whisk cornstarch and water together until smooth, then add it to the saucepan.
