Stovetop Turmeric-Spiced Turkey Breast

- 2 lbs turkey breast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 tbsp sunflower oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, turmeric, coriander, ginger, and cinnamon to create a spice rub.

Rub the spice mixture evenly over the entire turkey breast.

In a large skillet, heat sunflower oil over medium heat.

Sear the turkey breast for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Add minced garlic to the pan and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and cook the turkey for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Remove the turkey from the skillet and let it rest for 10 minutes.

In the same skillet, melt butter and sprinkle flour, whisking together until blended.

Gradually whisk in 1 cup of turkey drippings to create a smooth sauce.

Slice the turkey and serve drizzled with the garlic butter sauce.
