Ancient Grain Protein Bread

ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups Hemp Hearts
- 1 2/3 cups Hemp Hearts Protein Flakes
- 3/4 cup ground wheat
- 3/4 ground triticale grain
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ghee
- 1/16 cup skim milk powder
- 2 tsp yeast
- 1 cup warm water

In a large bowl, combine the bread kit ingredients: Hemp Hearts, Hemp Hearts Protein Flakes, skim milk powder, ground wheat, and ground triticale grain.

Add enclosed cup of brown sugar and ghee to the bowl and mix well.

Dissolve yeast in warm water, stir in 1tsp sugar and let it sit for a few minutes until frothy.

Gradually add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients while mixing until a dough forms.

Place the dough in a greased bread pan, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 2 hours to raise.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (190°C)

Bake for 30-40 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and crisp to the touch.
