Tangy Skirt Steak Grill

Tangy Skirt Steak Grill
ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs skirt steak
- 1 cup dill pickle juice
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Fresh dill or parsley for garnish (optional)
steps
- 1.
In a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish, combine pickle juice, Worcestershire sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if using.
- 2.
Add the skirt steak to the marinade, ensuring it is fully submerged. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, for maximum flavor.
- 3.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 4.
Remove the steak from the marinade and let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before grilling. Discard the marinade.
- 5.
Grill the steak for about 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness.
- 6.
Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- 7.
Slice against the grain and serve garnished with fresh dill or parsley if desired.
