Apple Cinnamon Filo Rolls

- 6 sheets filo dough
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Lay one sheet of filo dough on a clean work surface and brush it with melted butter.

Top it with another sheet of filo dough and brush it with butter as well. Repeat to stack all 6 sheets.

In a small bowl, mix the unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon until well combined.

Spread the applesauce mixture evenly over the filo dough stack, leaving a small border around the edges.

Starting from one of the longer sides, carefully roll the filo dough stack tightly into a log.

Cut the log into 12 equal-sized rolls and place them onto the prepared baking sheet, with the seam side down.

Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the filo dough turns golden brown and crispy.
