- 3.6 oz Viking Cookie Malt
- 3.6 oz Viking Chocolate Light Malt
- 2.6 oz Viking Caramel 150 Malt
- 2.6 oz Viking Caramel 400 Malt
- 20 oz Viking Pale Ale Malt
- 19.8 oz Viking Golden Ale Malt
- 4.3 oz Viking Caramel 50 Malt
- 30 g Magnum
- 15 g Columbus
- 10 g Centennial
- 10 g East Kent Goldings
- Wyeast 1335 British Ale II | Safale US-05 American Ale Yeast
steps
- 1.
Crush all grains and mix together in a large muslin bag.
- 2.
Heat 2.5 gallons of water to 160°F and add the grains.
- 3.
Steep for 30 minutes, keeping the temperature between 150-160°F.
- 4.
Remove the grains and bring the water to a boil.
- 5.
Add hops and boil for 60 minutes.
- 6.
Cool wort, pitch yeast, and ferment according to ale instructions.
