steps

Steep crystal malt in hot water (160°F) for 30 minutes, then remove and discard.

Bring malt extract to a boil and add cascade hops. Boil for 60 minutes.

Add vanilla bean during the last 5 minutes of the boil.

Cool the wort, transfer to a fermenter, and pitch yeast.
- 5.
Ferment for 2 weeks, then bottle with priming sugar.
- 6.
Allow to carbonate for 2 weeks before enjoying.
