Decadent Triple Chocolate Cake

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 tsp baking powder

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup hot water
- 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F and grease three 9-inch round cake pans.

In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
