ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
- 1 cup cauliflower florets, steamed
- 1 cup carrots, sliced and steamed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 cups frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: ketchup, sour cream, green onions
steps
- 1.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2.
In a skillet, cook the hamburger over medium heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- 3.
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a separate skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until no longer pink in the center. Allow it to cool, then dice into bite-sized pieces.
- 4.
In a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, arrange half of the frozen tater tots in an even layer.
- 5.
Sprinkle the cooked hamburger evenly over the tots, followed by the diced chicken.
- 6.
Spread the steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots over the meat.
- 7.
Place another layer of frozen tater tots on top, covering the vegetables completely.
- 8.
Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over the tots.
- 9.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- 10.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve hot with optional toppings such as ketchup, sour cream, or green onions for extra flavor.
