- 1 cup diced tomatoes (for pico de gallo)
- 1/2 cup diced red onion (for pico de gallo)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (for pico de gallo)
- 1 lime, juiced (for pico de gallo)

- 2 tbsp ghost pepper sauce (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
steps
- 1.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

For the spicy queso, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and cook for about 1 minute until bubbly.
- 3.
Gradually whisk in the milk, and then add the cream cheese and shredded Monterey Jack. Stir until smooth and heated through, about 5 minutes.
- 4.
In a bowl, mix diced tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, and season with salt and pepper to create pico de gallo.
- 5.
Spread tortilla chips out on a large baking sheet. Drizzle the spicy queso generously over the chips.
- 6.
Sprinkle the pico de gallo and sliced jalapeños on top.
- 7.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
- 8.
Remove from the oven and drizzle ghost pepper sauce over the top for an extra kick. Serve hot and enjoy!
