A bold and balanced IPA with a sweet touch of honey malt and mineral-rich water, offering a unique twist to the classic IPA.
ingredients
- 9 lbs Pale Ale Malt
- 1 lb Honey Malt
- 1 lb Wheat Malt
- 1 oz Centennial Hops
- 1 oz Cascade Hops
- 1 oz Chinook Hops
- 1 oz Citra Hops
- 1 pack American Ale Yeast
- 1 lb Honey (for bottling)
- 5 gallons Mineral Water

- 1.
Mash grains at 152°F for 60 minutes
- 2.
Sparge with mineral water
- 3.
Bring to a boil and add Centennial hops
- 4.
After 30 minutes, add Cascade hops
- 5.
At 45 minutes, add Chinook hops
- 6.
At 55 minutes, add Citra hops
- 7.
Cool, transfer to fermenter, pitch yeast
- 8.
Ferment for 2 weeks, then bottle with honey
- 9.
Age for 2 weeks before enjoying
