ingredients
- 6 cups water
- 1 lb light dry malt extract
- 2 oz Cascade hops
- 1 oz Citra hops
- 1 lb strawberry puree
- 1 tsp strawberry extract
- 1 lb Bearded Tree Linden Honey
- 1 packet ale yeast
steps
- 1.
In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add malt extract, Cascade hops, and Citra hops. Boil for 60 minutes.
- 2.
Add strawberry puree and strawberry extract, boil for an additional 10 minutes.
- 3.
Remove from heat and cool to 70°F.
- 4.
Transfer to a sanitized fermenter, add yeast, and ferment for 2 weeks.
- 5.
Gently warm Bearded Tree Linden Honey and add to the fermenter, allow to ferment for an additional week.
- 6.
Bottle the beer and let it carbonate for 2 weeks before enjoying.
