Layered Tres Leches Cake

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 5 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
- 2 cups heavy cream
- ½ cup powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.

In a bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.

Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture, alternating with milk. Divide batter evenly among pans.

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool.

In a bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and 1 cup heavy cream.

In a separate bowl, whip remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

Place one cake layer on a plate, spread whipped cream on top. Repeat with remaining layers.
