This zesty Cole slaw recipe features tequila-infused cabbage, tart lime dressing, fresh cilantro, and a mild jalapeño kick.
ingredients
- 1 large head of green cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste

In a large bowl, combine sliced cabbage and tequila. Toss to coat and let sit for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, whisk together lime juice, oil, honey, jalapeño, cilantro, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.

Drain excess tequila from cabbage and toss with the lime dressing until evenly coated.

Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.
