- 2 ripe bananas, mashed (approximately 240g)
- 120g creamy peanut butter
- 85g honey or maple syrup
- 60g protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
- 2.5g vanilla extract (approximately 1/2 tsp)
- 1.25g cinnamon (optional, approximately 1/2 tsp)
- 30g chopped nuts or seeds (optional)
- 45g chocolate chips (optional)

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line an 20x20 cm baking pan with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

In another bowl, mix the protein powder, cinnamon, and nuts or seeds until well combined.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring to form a thick batter.

If using, fold in chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly and pressing it down firmly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan before lifting out with the parchment paper.

Cut into 12 squares and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
