- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup water
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp. dried basil
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- ½ tsp. salt

Heat a large pot over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautéing in water for 5 minutes until soft.
