Melt-in-your-mouth seasoned beef, paired with vibrant green bell peppers, and fluffy jasmine rice. A flavorful meal with minimal clean-up!
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 green bell peppers, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.

Add olive oil, onions, and bell peppers to the pan and sauté for about 3 minutes.

Add minced garlic and seasonings, and stir well for another minute.
- 4.
Add the browned beef, uncooked rice, and water. Stir well and bring to a boil.
- 5.
Cover the skillet and reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
- 6.
Fluff with a fork before serving.
