Peanut Butter Butterfinger Caramel Brownies

Rich and fudgy brownies with a creamy peanut butter and caramel filling, topped with crushed Butterfinger candy for a delightful crunch.
ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 4 Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
steps
- 1.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- 2.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 3.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- 4.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
- 5.
In a microwave-safe bowl, warm the peanut butter and caramel sauce together until smooth and pourable. Drizzle half of the peanut butter-caramel mixture over the brownie batter in the pan.
- 6.
Carefully pour the remaining brownie batter over the peanut butter-caramel layer. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
- 7.
Drizzle the remaining peanut butter-caramel mixture over the top of the brownies and use a butter knife to swirl it into the batter to create a marbled effect.
- 8.
Sprinkle the crushed Butterfinger candy bars over the top.
- 9.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake.
- 10.
Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares and serving.
