A flavorful and hoppy version of Killians with a smooth finish. Perfect for those who enjoy a balance of malty sweetness and hoppy bitterness. Great for aging to enhance the flavors.
ingredients
- 3.3 lbs plain light malt extract
- 2 lbs plain dry light malt
- 10 oz 60L Briess grain
- 1 oz Briess Black Patent
- 1 oz Willamette aroma hops
- 1 oz Willamette flavor hops

Heat water to 155°F, add grains in a muslin bag, steep for 30 min
- 2.
Remove grains, bring to boil, add malt extract and boil for 60 min
- 3.
Add hops at specified times
- 4.
Cool wort, transfer to fermenter, pitch yeast
- 5.
Ferment for 2 weeks, bottle and age for best results
