Savory ground beef cooked with onions, peppers, and spices, folded into puff pastry dough with olives and raisins for a flavorful twist on a classic empanada.
ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup green olives, sliced
- 1/4 cup raisins
- 1 packet puff pastry dough

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until vegetables are soft.

Stir in olives and raisins. Remove from heat.

Roll out puff pastry dough and cut into circles.

Spoon beef mixture onto each circle. Fold in half and seal edges.
