- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 onion, diced

- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1 cup beef broth

- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
