Ultimate Stuffed Bread Feast
ingredients
- 1 whole loaf of freshly baked bread
- 1/2 lb beef, diced
- 1/2 lb pork, diced
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup three cheeses (such as cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan), shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup rice
- Salt, to taste
- Long pepper, to taste
- 1 potato, peeled and diced
- 1/4 cup honey for glaze

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Cut the top off the loaf of bread and hollow out the center, saving the scooped-out bread.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and cook beef and pork until browned.

Add apple, mushrooms, rice, and potato to the skillet and cook until tender.
- 5.
Season with salt and long pepper, then stir in three cheeses until melted.
- 6.
Mix honey with a bit of water and brush over the top of the loaf.
- 7.
Fill the hollowed-out bread loaf with the mixture.
- 8.
Place the top of the loaf back on top and place on a baking sheet.
- 9.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and toasted.
- 10.
Serve by slicing the loaf or scooping out the filling to eat with the bread.
