- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Add sliced beef, marinate for 30 minutes.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan, stir-fry marinated beef until browned. Remove from the pan.

In the same pan, stir-fry bell peppers and onion until tender.

Return beef to the pan, add remaining marinade. Cook until sauce thickens.
