A zesty chickpea patty topped with creamy avocado and sriracha mayo on a toasted bun - a meatless burger with a kick!
ingredients
- 2 cans (15 oz each) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/4 cup sriracha mayo
- 4 burger buns, toasted

In a food processor, pulse chickpeas until coarsely chopped.

Transfer chickpeas to a bowl and mix in breadcrumbs, red onion, garlic, spices, salt, and pepper.

Form mixture into 4 patties and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
