- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices crusty bread
- 1 cup arugula
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- Pickles, for serving
