This full-bodied Weizenbier is a smooth and refreshing wheat beer with a hint of citrus and spice. Perfect for enjoying on a warm summer day.
ingredients
- 2 tins Muntons Plain Wheat Malt Extract
- 0.5 oz. U.S. Hallertau Hops (bittering)
- 0.5 oz. U.S. Hallertau Hops (finishing)
steps
- 1.
Bring 2 gallons of water to a boil.
- 2.
Remove from heat and stir in wheat malt extract until dissolved.
- 3.
Add bittering hops and boil for 45 minutes.
- 4.
Add finishing hops and boil for an additional 15 minutes.
- 5.
Cool wort, transfer to fermenter, and top up to 5 gallons.
- 6.
Ferment for 2 weeks at room temperature.
- 7.
Bottle and age for 2 weeks before enjoying.
